Veneer is not the same scope as a structural masonry wall.

Generic estimating tools collapse veneer into "masonry" and you bid the wrong number. The unit math is per-SF on the field, per-LF on lintels and sills, per-EA on cast-stone trim. Flashing, weep, tie schedules — bid separately or eat the cost when the GC backcharges. Mortar coverage on a 3/8" head joint is different from CMU bedding.

Veneer scope is built into the platform as veneer — not as a sub-bullet under "Masonry, miscellaneous." Bid it the way it actually installs, in the units it actually counts in.
